For almost two decades, our products have been used in both research and commercial diagnostic applications. By working directly with our customers, we are proud to provide high-quality monosized latex microspheres and technical support necessary for the development of successful particle-based products. Our products can be used as NIST traceable size standards, FACS standards, as well as in latex agglutination (such as CRP, HCG) and lateral-flow rapid tests. Our precision microbeads of 3 um, 4 um and 5 um are also used as LCD spacers to control the cell gap.

Using patented and proprietary technology, Magsphere's products are all monodispersed and available in diameter ranges from 0.02 um (20 nm) to 15 um. Our production method utilizes emulsion polymerization or seeded emulsion polymerization techniques to produce spherical, stable, ultra-clean, uniform latex particles. Aside from our basic white polystyrene latex particles, we also produce intensely dyed colored particles (blue, red, green), fluorescent particles (yellow, green, red), and surfactant free latex particles. We can conduct a custom synthesis in a 100 ml batch or, to meet your full-scale production, we manufacture reproducible latexes in a 200 liter reactor.

We also provide a special evaluation pack that consists of    5 mL (at 10% solids) of any 3 different latex particles of your choice for $275 or less. Most researchers find this to be an excellent package for a feasibility project.
