Magnetic Microparticles (Magnetic Beads) Our magnetic particles or magnetic beads are synthesized by embedding superparamagnetic iron oxide crystals in a polystyrene matrix. They are specially designed for either with hydrophobic surface for ligand adsorption or with carboxylic acid groups on their surfaces for covalent conjugation. Three convenient average sizes of magnetic particles, 0.8um, 2 um and 5 um are ideal for magnetic cell separation and magnetic cell sorting, automated IVD immunoassay, affinity purification and concentrating or purification of peptides or protein from biological fluid. Once can prepare the immonomagnetic beads by hydrophobic binding or covalent binding of specific antibody to polystyrene or carboxylated polystyrene microbeads. With their high magnetic contents, one can isolated cells very effectively.
Our magnetic particles, or magnetic beads come in aqueous suspension of 2.5% solids. We have two (2) superparamagnetic, which has Polystyrene based, or Carboxylated PS based. Product will be shipped within 10% of the diameter you specify. We offer in 10 mL, and 100 mL quantity. For bulk quantity of 500+ mL please contact Magsphere Inc.
